How Does PhotoReading Work?

PhotoReading is easier and faster because it works in a way that the brain is comfortable with - by revealing the big picture from the start and then allowing the brain to do what it does naturally, recognising and building patterns.

PhotoReading does this by using the whole mind to absorb written information. Regular reading teaches you to start at the beginning and read word by word, which is like looking at the individual bricks and then realising you're looking at a building. With PhotoReading you make multiple passes through material, understanding from the start that you're looking at a building and then going back in for specific details and content.

100% of course participants would recommend PhotoReading to a friend/colleague.

It's estimated that we use less than 5% of our brain's capacity. PhotoReading taps into the other 95% - which is why it's referred to as the 'whole mind' system. It gets the conscious and non-conscious minds working together in harmony to be more productive and effective.
There are 5 steps to the PhotoReading whole mind system:

Step 1 - Prepare
Getting into an ideal state of mind and having a clear purpose enhances concentration and accelerates information processing while improving comprehension and recall

Step 2 - Preview
Briefly looking over the material allows the mind to gain an overall perspective

Step 3 - PhotoRead
This step is the key to accelerated learning from written materials. It turns on the brain's natural ability to process information non-consciously using a kind of 'soft focus' to mentally photograph each page

Step 4 - Postview
Briefly surveying the material again enables the mind to better understand the structure or format the author is using as well as finding key terms and engaging curiosity

Step 5 - Activation
Activation restimulates the neural pathways exposed to text during PhotoReading enabling the reader to consciously retrieve relevant information

Optional - Rapid Reading
This step takes the reader rapidly through the material from start to finish and is only used when there is a need to build even greater understanding and comprehension for example, of complex reading material
